Firecrackers explosion kills 7, injures 9 in Linli County

The death toll from a fatal firecrackers explosion in a legal firecrackers factory of Linli County in Hunan Province reached 7, 9 were injured January 18, around 6:30 p.m.

9 injured are hospitalized and in stable condition, after the explosion happened, 6 county-level leaders of Linli County had rushed to the scene for emergency rescue operations, set up a temporarily commanding group, and is considering a fair way to comfort and compensate those sorrowed families.

A emergency meeting was also held by the temporarily guiding group in the same day, and 34 legal firecrackers makers in the whole county were forced to stop producing for implement rectification.

Further investigation is now underway.
