The Biomedical Park
was founded in October, 1998. It is located in an area
of 13.4 square kilometers in Liuyang, 35 Km away from
Chagnsha and 18 Km away from Huanghua international
airport. It
has perfect infrastructure, with land flattened and
water, electricity, telecommunication, gas, road, heat
and drainage supplied.Shanghai Tongji University City
Planning Architecture Institute designed the blueprint
of the Biomedcial Park. Guided by the concept of “Advocating High
Technology, Being Close to Nature”, the Park will be a
model of environmental protection and intelligence, a
new zone with “Forest in Park, Factories in
Forest”.
Since its
foundation, 18 pharmaceutical enterprises, two national
medical and pharmaceutical labs and one research and
development center of life science have registered in
the Biomedical Park. Their total investment has reached
RMB 1.18 billion yuan. China Pharmaceutical University,
China Medicine Research Institute and other famous
national research institutions and universities give
firm support to the technological innovation of the
firms in the Park.
Hunan Liuyang
Biomedical Park enjoys favorable policies that the state
gives to high-tech development zones. It supplies
professional and effective services to the firms in the
Park, such as how to get the certification of new drugs,
the medicine manufacturing licenses and the
authentication of GMP (Good Manufacture Practice) by the
State Drug Administration. The Park provides land to
pharmaceutical and other high- tech enterprises at
favorable prices.
园区创建于1998年10月，占地面积13.4平方公里，距长沙市城区中心35公里，距长沙黄花国际机场18公里。园区基础设施完善，土地七通一平。园区建设规划由上海同济大学城市规划设计院设计。在“崇尚高科技，亲近大自然”的理念指导下，建设“园中有林，林中有厂”的环保型，智能型的新园区。
园区现有18家药厂，2 个国家级实验室和1个生命科学研究与发展中心，已完成投资11.8亿元。中国药科大学，中国医学科学院等中国著名大学和科研机构是园区企业科技创新的重要依托。
